Once you see the menu open with a list of options, tap "Goals," which will show you the information you entered when you first set up your account. Here, you can change your starting weight, current weight, goal weight, weekly goal, and activity level.If you decide you want to get a bit more active, ramp up the activity level. If you prefer to lose more pounds per week, increase that number. Whatever it is you want to change, just tap on it, tap "Yes" on any warning prompts that may appear. Change the data, then hit "Save" or "Set," depending on what it was.When adjusting the current weight, goal weight, weekly goal, or activity level, after doing so, any custom nutrition goals you had will be removed. If you'd like to keep that data, it might be worth screenshotting real quick before tweaking any of the basics, so you can enter it like before later.

Step 3: Customize Nutrition GoalsDepending on your health, a doctor or nutritionist may recommend a certain nutrition plan for you, and you can customize MFP to adhere to that plan. If you're still in the Goals view, great. If not, go back to Step 2 to get there. Then, under the Nutrition Goals section, tap on "Calorie, Carbs, Protein and Fat Goals" to customize them.If you have a nutrition plan with specific numbers, insert them here to replace the default goals. If you change around carbs, protein, and fat, these macronutrients must equal 100%. We don't recommend changing these numbers unless you have a plan or know what you're doing.

Step 4: Add Fitness GoalsFinally, if you're planning on incorporating workouts into your diet, it's important to add fitness goals as well. Again, in the Goals settings (visit Step 2 if you need help getting there), scroll down to the Fitness Goals section. Here, you can add workouts per week, as well as minutes per workout. Unfortunately, while you can see your exercise information and the calories accounted for in your daily calorie goal, you can't see your workouts per week or minutes per workout goals through the mobile app, so you must go to your Exercise Diary on the MyFitnessPal website in a web browser to keep track of that. Google just released Android 9.0 Pie, but the Android community is already working its magic. Developer Quinny899 quickly ported the updated Pixel Launcher from the new build, so you can try it out on other phones right now.The only requirements here are that you're running Marshmallow or higher with Unknown Sources enabled in Settings under Security, and that you don't have any previous versions of the Pixel Launcher installed on your phone — even ports like Lawnchair (this means it won't work on Pixel devices, obviously). Aside from that, installing the new Android Pie home screen app is incredibly easy, but I'll cover the process in detail below just in case you need some help along the way.

Step 1: Download the APKFirst, tap the link below from your Android device to grab the ported Android Pie Pixel Launcher. From there, tap the Download complete notification (or open the APK file from any file browser), then press "Install" when prompted.Download the ported Android Pie Pixel Launcher by Quinny899 Note: If you get an "App Not Installed" error (or similar), it's probably because you have an older version of the Pixel Launcher installed. Uninstall the older version from Settings –> Apps and try again.

Step 2: Set Your New Home ScreenWhen the app finishes installing, go ahead and press your home button. At this point, you'll be asked to select a launcher — pick "Pixel Launcher" from the list. If you're using a Samsung phone, that's all there is to it! For other phones, you may have to tap your home button one more time, then select Pixel Launcher again and choose "Always" to set it as your default home screen.

Step 3: Enable PermissionsBefore you run off to try out your new launcher, you should take a second to give it the permissions it needs. On Pixel phones, it's installed as a system app, so these permissions are granted by default. But since you installed this app yourself and it's not programmed to ask for permissions otherwise, you'll have to manually grant the permissions it needs.So head to the Apps or Applications menu in Settings, then scroll through the list and find the "Pixel Launcher" entry. Tap it, then scroll down and look for a "Permissions" option. Head in there, then toggle the switches next to "Location," "Phone," and "Storage."

Step 4: Try the New Pixel LauncherNow you're all set to try your new home screen. Not much has changed since the last Pixel Launcher update with Android Oreo, but a few finishing touches have been added. Now, the dock background is a little less transparent than it was (no gradient!) and the bounce effects when scrolling are more pronounced. Additionally, the microphone icon now opens the Google Assistant.If you've never used the Pixel Launcher before, the noteworthy features are an app drawer that opens when you swipe up from the dock at the bottom of your home screen, as well as a Google search widget embedded at the bottom of the screen right next to your thumb.Unfortunately, the integrated Google Now page won't work, as this feature requires you to install the Pixel Launcher as a system app, which itself requires root. Project Fi will soon offer three new phones: The Moto G6, LG G7 ThinQ, and LG V35 ThinQ. The LG models are top-of-the-line flagships, while the Motorola is a budget phone with decent specs and a wallet-friendly price tag.The Moto G6 will be offered at a discounted rate for Project Fi customers — only $199, as opposed to its regular price of $249. Navigating through the darkness—literal darkness, not the existential variety—is always a difficult task on its own, and my Android doesn't necessarily make it any easier. Many manufacturers offer quick access to a flashlight or torch feature, but my Galaxy S4 doesn't have an easily accessible toggle or button available to turn it on.And because I'm not a fan of lock screen widgets, to toggle on my flashlight before I stumble over unseen obstacles, I have to swipe, enter my passcode, and tap on a widget. It's not difficult, but it is inconvenient, as I'd prefer to illuminate my path much faster.Regardless of the Android device you may have, today I'll be showing you how to toggle on your flashlight quicker than ever, without even needing to unlock your device. This functionality has been around for a while, like when we showed you how to activate the torch with volume buttons, but that method required that your device had root-level access. Now, you can activate the flashlight without root access, directly from your power button. Please enable JavaScript to watch this video.

Step 1: Install Power Button FlashlightNo root access is required for this functionality to work, all you need is the free application from development team at Brink Technologies called Power Button Flashlight.

Step 2: Activate the ServiceTo enable the application's service, all you have to do is launch it. A popup will show notifying you that the app is functioning and will require a three-press action of the power button to activate the flashlight (four if the device is unlocked).There are a few settings you can adjust, like the vibration effect once the light is activated, how long it'll stay active, and the ability disable the service.

Step 3: Toggle on Your FlashlightAs mentioned in the previous step, to activate your flashlight while the device is locked, simply press your power button three times within a three-second window (or four if the device is unlocked).Disabling the light with the same power button action will require an in-app purchase of $0.99, which also removes ads, or you can save some money and use the notification it provides to toggle the torch off. The application, called Taig, was filled with pirated software and was rumored to have permissions capable of tracking your information and sending it elsewhere. The controversy increased when Cydia creator fired off several tweets mentioning how evad3rs didn't ask him for an official build for Cydia and how he warned them that Taig was a sketchy application. In response to the backlash stemming from all the backlash, evad3rs then released a letter stating that they did indeed benefit financially from bundling Taig in their jailbreak, but that their intention was never to force a shady application full of pirated software among users.Now, the evad3rs have released a second letter, stating that they have decided to completely get rid of Taig from their jailbreak.
